Beef Share Deposit
Currently, we are only accepting local customers; in the future we hope to be able to ship products to those at a greater distance.
Fill your freezer and provide pasture raised beef for your family!
Regardless of what size share you would like to purchase (1/4 or 1/2); all we need right now is a non-refundable $100 deposit. This deposit will go towards your final payment. We will then send you a beef cut sheet that we will need returned ASAP, so that we can give it to the butcher when we deliver the cows. Once your meat is ready for pick up, we will let you know and either schedule a delivery to you or you can pick it up from our farm.
Upon delivery or pick up, your remaining balance will be due and consist of:
Northwoods butcher fee: $100 for the whole cow (if you order ¼ it will be $25).
Northwoods processing: .75 cents/lb, vacuum sealed.
$4.75/lb (hanging weight) for Elk Acres Farm beef.
*This cost will vary depending on the weight of the steer.
For a ¼ cow you will need 3-4 cu ft freezer space.
For a ½ you will need 7-8 cu ft.
